Our Target
Our Target is to raise an estimated £1.9M to build the new Community and Church Centre with the following facilities:
- A building that is welcoming to the whole community and also includes a multi-purpose room able to seat around 200 that can serve for conferences, theatre performances, lectures, public meetings and as a place of worship.
- Welcoming, bright entrances, light and spacious.
- Facilities to meet the needs of all.
- Special facilities for children.
- Offices with privacy.
- Lower maintenance costs.
- Lower energy costs; up to date heating, insulation and lighting.
- A modern kitchen suitable for preparing food on a larger scale which could be used for a training base for those with learning difficulties.
- A greater number and variety of rooms.
- A cafe area with its entrance opposite the library and health centre.
- A secure, outside area with separate play area for young children.
- To maximise the use of the building.
